A short 10 minute walk from the parking lot brings you to the base of the falls. The falls are pretty, but it is a disappointing view, partially obscured by the trees. There is a sign stating not to go further (up the bank) or you could be fined. I wanted to do so anyway (and some people did), but I figured that if I did go (knowing my luck), the park ranger would certainly appear. It would be really nice if they just extended the path up a little ways.
