Douglas Falls is a scenic and gorgeous cascade along Mill Creek, located in Douglas Falls Grange Park, near Colville.

The viewing area for Douglas Falls is right beside the parking area, and easily accessed. A sign indicates the falls is 60 ft. high, but there is no way it is that high. My measurement was 28 ft., but I am not very confident in my calculation; it is probably a bit higher than that, but certainly not 60 ft.

The terrain is very steep around the waterfall. It looks like some people have gone down to the bottom before, and it is probably do-able, but I did not want to try in the slick snow. Perhaps in the summer it would be slightly easier, but I am sure park officials would not like you doing it. There is a loop trail that goes around the falls (much similar to the one at Burney Falls in CA - except the trail does not go right to the bottom of the creek).
