Devils Falls is probably the easiest waterfall to get to in the Sacramento area. Its certainly not the biggest or best, but if you want to see a pretty waterfall without getting out of your car, within a 1 hour drive from the big city, then this is your ticket. The height of Devils Falls is 45 ft., but if you scramble up the path beside the falls from the road, you can also see upper cascades as well. There is also a small tiered waterfall below the road where the creek dumps into Shirttail Creek, and it is not difficult to scramble down to the bottom to see it.
