East Boulder Lake Falls is a great little introduction to the Trinity Alps (though technically, it is the Scott Mountains in Klamath National Forest). Although the town of Callahan is a long way from nowhere, the trail to East Boulder Lake is easy and incredibly pretty. The waterfall that flows on the outlet stream from the lake is a nice little waterfall, which reminded me a lot of Bluff Falls at Lassen Natl. Park. In the spring, East Boulder Lake Falls would be a lot more impressive.
