The upper Deer Creek Falls is a small 20 ft. drop along Deer Creek, but is still a very nice waterfall, as it plunges down into a little pool. It is just a short walk from the roadside down to the creek, and there is now a developed (signed) turnout on Hwy 32. Deer Creek Falls is better to see when the creek is higher in the spring, but when I was here in October, the creek was flowing great (though, I think it was mostly from recent snow melt).
If you can, you should also check out the Lower Deer Creek Falls (3.2 miles down Hwy 32). It is an easy hike to a really nice falls.
