Gardner Creek Falls (Gardiner Creek Falls) is a pretty little roadside waterfall along the way to Nakusp Hot Springs. About 20 ft. high, it is definitely worth making the stop to see it during spring snowmelt.
Gardner Creek has quite a bit of flow during spring, and we have seen pictures of kayakers going off this waterfall when the creek is high. Although it seems there may be cascades above the main falls, we did climb up to the top of Gardner Creek Falls, and did not see much more. But if you drive up Gardner Creek FSR (off Kuskanax Creek FSR), there is a good chance you may find more waterfalls further up on Gardner Creek. If we lived here, this is a creek that would certainly be worth further exploration.
