Directions:From Madison, drive south on the Grand Loop Rd. for about 1.5 miles to one-way Firehole Canyon Drive. Turn right and drive about 2.0 miles to the signed viewpoint for the cascades (just before Firehole Canyon Drive re-joins Grand Loop Rd).

The Cascades of the Firehole are interesting cascades, located where the Firehole River enters through a narrow canyon wall. This is not much of a "waterfall", exactly, but it is an interesting place to stop and see the river rushing through the canyon.
