Minute Creek Falls is not on the West Coast Trail, but on nearby Juan
de Fuca Trail (the other side of Port Renfrew). There are many access
points along Juan de Fuca, you do not have to hike the whole thing at
one time like you do for the West Coast Trail (though many people do
hike the whole thing). We went for a day hike starting at Sombrio Beach.
It was May. It was very muddy, up to the knees in some places. Be
prepared to get dirty, or better yet, go in July.
